Re: Trouble at the Traveling Market
Oliver's slight touches and gestures to assure her that he was still there put Antonella on her toes. Maybe it was that he cared, or maybe the promise not to hurt her. Antonella could care less about Oliver being a shadow, as he could probably care less about her being half zebra.
Antonella smirked at the childish 'pinky promise'. "I believe you," she said completely smiling. "There was no need to promise, but now I can hold you responsable for something if you break that!" she laughed. Even though she knew it wasn't the best thing to say.
"Does this happen every night?" Antonella asked curiously.

"Unfortunately...but there are ways to get around it." Oliver sniffed, and quickly led her towards the soft glow of a castle window, almost ballroom dancing with her as he did so. When the dim lighting touched them, you could almost make out Oliver's features. It was a bit ghastly, and he felt rather like a phantom.

Unsure of how to react Antonella reached up to lightly touch Oliver's face. She immiediently pulled back before the tips of her fingers could even skim the surface of his skin. Antonella felt that if she touched him, he would vanish into thin air. It was silly, she knew. But she had no idea what to expect from a shadow.
"I wish there was a way to get around being a halfling," she sighed.

This struck him as odd. Why would Antonella want to change? She was beautiful the way she was.
"Why do you say that?" He asked, confused.
