[HUMAN] Slade Aeternus

Slade Aeternus
27 August 1871
BACKGROUND
» 1883 was the year of the biggest volcanic eruptions the world has ever seen and in a village between the valleys of Krakatau, there lived a 12-year-old boy. Little did he know that a tsunami wave caused by the eruption was coming along to sweep his village into the ocean. Only he alone survived the horrible tragedy and he woke up to find that he was washed ashore to a foreign land called Neverland. He was found along the shore by an elder elf named Perseus. He knew that the child’s arrival to Neverland would mean the end of whatever former life he had in his little village so he took the little boy under his wing and brought him back to his lair and gave him a name: Slade, meaning ‘child of the valley’ as he was born in the valleys of the great volcano in Krakatau.
» He lived with Perseus in his lair at the foot of Helviti Mountain among towers and towers of books. Cut off completely from outside world, with only Perseus as his guide, mentor and friend, he came to learn everything Perseus knew and all the things that had to be known about Neverland. After half a century with Perseus, he gave himself the last name Aeternus which means eternal as he knows that he will live forever as he is in Neverland. Secretly, he longs to grow up, to live in the places the books he read described about, to get away from magic, to get away from anything magical and to feel...normal.
» Now, many, many centuries later, after Perseus had turned into ashes, Slade’s peaceful life among his books is shattered by the events that recently occurred in the Kingdom of Shadows. He is forced to live as a vagabond outside the elf community and has to survive without his books to keep him company.
APPEARANCE
» A mere boy at the physical age of 12 but with a real age exceeding millenniums, he has dark hair, light brown eyes, light brown skin with a mixture of jawanese/german features as his father was a foreigner in the village (as far as he can recall of his life before neverland).
» He only wears clothes Perseus’ gave him, children clothes from the 1900s which are cream coloured heavy fabric shirts, brown jacket, short brown pants long white socks that come up to his shins and heavy black loafers. He walks and talks with a swagger of an old man given the fact that he has only ever been in contact with Perseus since he arrived in Neverland.
