[SHADOW] Jaiden Empty [SHADOW] Jaiden

Post  kairiocean Fri Sep 04, 2009 11:34 pm

Name: Jaiden

Age: 15 in appearance, but she has been in existence since the downfall of Hook.

Gender: Female

Race: Shadow

Appearance:

Jaiden reaches a height of about 5”6, and she is small and slight. Her skin is so pale it almost appears tinged with black, and her hair is a full, ashen blond that falls almost to her waist, her iris’s are vivid pools of red, and her eyebrows are thin and curved over her face. Although she has been considered rather pretty, she emanates a cold, sinister edge, from the look in her eyes to the way she moves, easily, with deadly purpose.

Personality:

Jaiden is sadistic and feels no remorse no pity to any on Neverland, even of her own kind. However she does feel a strong loyalty to the Shadow King, as she is a visionary of it’s plan to merge light with darkness and open passages to new worlds, among those the fabled afterlife’s, heaven and hell.

She has no problem lying, and speaks lies as one speaks the truth, without hesitation or thought. She is persuasive and beautiful, and easily can convince people of what she wants. Jaiden can actually be quite humorous, in an evil, sarcastic sort of way. She is fascinated with death and what comes after for all the races, including shadows. However, despite her morbid qualities, she maintains cool dignity and is highly intelligent, coming up with the Shadow’s most intense plots and ploys, as well as being highly athletic and knowing fist to fist combat as well as pressure points and assassination.

History:

Jaiden was once the normal shadow of someone the fabled Peter Pan loved very dearly, the shadow a proper English girl named Wendy. Upon coming to Neverland, Jaiden awakened as a living shadow, at first filled with nothing but a reflection of Wendy’s sweet and sensible qualities. However, Wendy also was in possession of a strong spirit, one that she did not guard, but wore proudly.

Jaiden came to love her existence in the short time Wendy was in Neverland, nurtured by Wendy’s adventures and her spirit, and came to love Wendy as a sister, seeing as they spent many hours in each others company, though never speaking. So when Wendy decided to leave Neverland for the real world, Jaiden felt deeply betrayed. As Wendy flew with Peter off of Neverland by following Peter’s special bearing (third star to the right and straight on till morning to get their and back), Jaiden ripped herself free of Wendy, taking a piece of her spirit with her, and becoming Wendy’s living shadow.

While filled with anger and betrayal, Jaiden was also liberated and joyful of her new freedom, something she intended to do great things with. She bided her time, discovering every secret of Neverland she possibly could and exacting her prowess of stealth, and strength.

Then, a few hundred years later she found a shadow with indescribable power, a shadow of someone very important from Neverland’s past who proclaimed himself the Shadow King. While skeptical at first, Jaiden soon became a devout follower of him after a display that left her close to death and the Shadow King’s ambition that he shared with her, to unlock the space between worlds.

From that moment on, she worked with him to lure other peoples shadows away with tales of creating a new world, a better one in which shadows were not followers, but leaders, and in which they could recreate their own hearts and minds instead of being given merely a “shadow” of the personality of their “being”. What started as a quest for a sense of self has now turned into an obsession, and “being’s” have become the enemy, the “enslavers” born with slaves, their shadows, to be a reflection, to follow them wherever they go, to let them know the light from the dark. Jaiden realized their was no greater calling than to fight for this vision, and it is thanks to her that many shadow’s have joined the ranks of the Shadow Kingdom, fighting to permanently separate people from their shadows and try and develop the shadows into fully realized beings.

She now has many plans. She plots to “free” the shadows of many important and influential people who’s powers and qualities may be reflected or the opposite in their shadows, and to bridge the path between worlds, especially the two mirroring afterlife’s of Neverland. A sort of heaven and a hell perhaps, which Jaiden believes holds the answer to the mysteries surrounding beings and shadows.

Also, because of nearly being taken from Neverland, Jaiden is one of the only beings living on Neverland that knows the exact bearing one must take to escape into the real world...

more to come...
